Jr. Draughtsman(Mech.)/1 The maximum age limit is 43 years for General, 48 years for SC/ST and 45 years for OBC & minimum not less than 18 years as on 01.09.2019 Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination in the Trade of ‘Draughtsman’ in Mechanical Stream., Candidates applying for the posts for the Trades should have minimum 2 years experience in a shipbuilding industry in the respective trades. However, where the candidates have worked in two or more of the above-mentioned trades in the shipbuilding industry, total work experience of minimum 2 years in these trades will be reckoned for considering
Fitter/2 The maximum age limit is 43 years for General, 48 years for SC/ST and 45 years for OBC & minimum not less than 18 years as on 01.09.2019 Passed SSC or equivalent with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) Examination passed in the trade of Fitter / Millwright Mechanic / Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance., Candidates applying for the posts for the Trades should have minimum 2 years experience in a shipbuilding industry in the respective trades. However, where the candidates have worked in two or more of the above-mentioned trades in the shipbuilding industry, total work experience of minimum 2 years in these trades will be reckoned for considering

Salary (Pay Scale) : The candidates appointed in Skilled Gr-I (IDA-5) category will be placed at a Basic Pay of Rs.7500/- per month in the IDA Pay Scale Rs.7500-22430/-.
